We had a busy day today in Room 145. After Center Time and Afternoon Meeting, we talked about the Flat Stanleys that we are going to send next week (the big parade to the mailbox will be on Tuesday - check the newsletter for the times. The kids learned about addressing a letter, and we also talked about how the post office works - how our Stanleys will get to their destinations.
We then continued our celebration of the 100th day of school - with gym yesterday, the time was very short. The kids did a number scavenger hunt in the room, finding all of the numbers from 1-100 that were stuck on little stickers all around the room. The recorded their findings on a 100s chart, which hopefully you saw come home today.
After that, we went up to the computer lab for our time there. When we got back down to the room, Isabelle's mom brought us a couple of books to read: Finkle-Hopper Frog and When I Was a Girl, I Dreamed. Both were great books. Then we had Choice Time - Isabelle's dad came in to open the Take-Apart Center.

By then, it was time to pack up and head home.
Enjoy your weekend!!
